George Nelson’s Marshmallow Sofa is one of the coolest designs to come out of the 1950s. Round cushions over a square and round tubular frame. Add in retro colors from the 1950s and you’ve truly got a swingin’ sofa.

In May of 2015 a “rare and important” version of this Marshmallow sofa sold for a whopping $112, 500 at the Chicago Wright auction. As one of the most iconic furniture designs from this decade, it’s believable.
